Frequently Asked Questions

Currently we offer MAM program with SGT Markets only.
You need to open 2 EUR accounts with SGT and fund them with 2500 EUR each.
Our MAM program consists of two trading accounts that trades same strategy but in different times = i.e. they complement each other. Trades, trading times or enter/exit prices on both accounts do not match. It's important to use both accounts. Most of the days, both accounts are profitable. Some days, one account is well profitable while another one is slightly losing. Very, very rarely, both accounts finish the day in minus overall.
A high water mark is used in investment funds to ensure that investors do not have to pay performance fees for bad or mediocre performance. A high water mark ensures that if the net asset value of the fund falls in one investment period (a month, a quarter, a year – whichever is defined in the funds prospectus) that the performance fee can only ever be charged on any outperformance above the highest the fund had ever reached in a previous investment period. So if the fund falls 50 per cent to, say, $1,500 from a high of $3,000 in one investment period and rises 100 per cent to $3,000 in the next that, NO performance fee is charged.
No, you can't. MAM MT4 sub-accounts are not eligible for self-trading. Trading results are displayed on your account as deposits (profits) or withdrawals (losses).
Open two EUR accounts via our links 'Join Now'. Fund them. Then download LPOA (Limited Power of Attorney), sign it and send back to us.
No, this strategy does NOT use scalping. Average trading time is 5+ minutes. This strategy may be seen as volatility based swing trading. Typically profitable trades last 5-15 minutes or even longer, losing trades may be cut short and much faster (under 2-3 minutes).
I don't use fixed stop-loss, for many reasons. I have dynamically set max. loss that I'm comfortable to risk in every trade. Typically under 1-2% of MAM balance. Then I have 'emergency' stop-loss for unexpected, theoretical, 'market-crashing' movements. For MAM, this HARD stop-loss is set to -10% of the balance.

    Hi Mick,

Whats the difference between The King of Swing #1 and #2?
According to myfxbook #1 has a pip expectancy of 1.3 pips,
whereas #2 is 10.9 pips. Are these different strategies?

I notice the stats of your two published MAM accounts more closely resemble #1 than #2. Is is possible for MAM clients to trade the one that has a 10.9 pip expectancy?

Can clients specify the risk/leverage used?

    Hello Stephen,
pls check FAQ section (Q: why do I need two accounts?). It’s not possible to choose just one MAM, your funds will be split 50/50. Both Mams will perform similar in long term. Risk settings are generally set for each MAM, max. risk (WCS) is 5% for SGT MAM and 10% for Varianse MAM.
    Regards,
    Mick
